The Children’s Advocacy Center of Guernsey County was established in 2006 to provide a safe, child-focused place where children and families can receive support and services following concerns of abuse. Our goal is to reduce trauma for children by providing a compassionate, neutral environment where they feel safe, heard, and supported.
At the CAC, we bring together professionals from Children Services, Law Enforcement, Mental Health, Medical Services, Victim Advocacy, and Prosecution to work collaboratively as a multidisciplinary team. By coordinating services in one location, children are able to share their experiences in a supportive setting while reducing the need to repeat difficult information multiple times.
Through forensic interviews, advocacy, case management, medical partnerships, and community collaboration, the CAC helps ensure children and families receive efficient, trauma-informed care throughout the investigative and healing process. We are proud to partner with local agencies and organizations, including Haven of Hope, to provide comprehensive support, resources, and services that strengthen families and promote healing within our community. Our team is committed to protecting children, supporting families, and helping build a path toward safety, healing, and hope for the future.
